Thusly was it written …
There were in those days a great lack of Church Ladies and much suffering. And unto them there came an angel saying, "Let there be Church Ladies!" And lo! There were Church Ladies. Rumors of a new Album in the works

Rumors are rampant (starting with this blog entry) that a new Church Ladies album is in the works despite all the 21'st century challenges facing the group. Oh yes, and everyone in the band now has teens and pre-teens :) … And, our creative master songwriter, Mark Peter Hughes' 2'nd book (Lemonade Mouth) is being made into a movie by Disney.

The 'Ladies had a blast playing in Westford, MA at the Parish Center for the Arts (PCA). Tim "The Spoon Man" Spooner was in town from Singapore for a week so we made it happen! Here's a video of the first tune …

Update from Chuck:
I have good news! Doorbell rang the othe night and Paul (my contact) dropped off 5 CD's (no jewel cases with art). They look GREAT and sound even better. Just talked to Paul this afternoon and he plans on dropping off the finished CD's with jewel cases on Thursday!!!!!!

Hi –
The Church Ladies will be throwing a party to celebrate the release of our first, 15 song CD … Definitely not to be missed. There will be food, a bar with ‘tender, and the ‘Ladies, performing (mostly) live, and CD’s. This is a family friendly event … adults and children are welcome!
When: Saturday June 14, 7:00 PM – 11:00 PM
Where: HE Fletcher Social and Athletic Club. 11 Brookside Road, Westford, MA., 01886
There is no charge (except for drinks at the bar) and no tickets but space is limited to ~ 100 guests, so squeeze in early!
